A little bit about myself...I hail from a tiny island of Singapore when, at the age of 16, I decided it was time to leave the nest...So at 18, I packed up my bags, hoped on a plane and traveled a few thousands miles away to start my adventures in the greatest city in the world, San Francisco.

 

I graduated from The University of San Francisco and the Academy of Art College with a BFA degree in '95. I was probably in the best shape of my life then, running up and down those hills with my portfolio in one hand and a triple shot espresso coffee in the other. 

 

I moved to this little town of Ft. Myers, FL after graduation and as they say, the rest is history. I have 4 boys – 2 of my own and 2 from my marriage to a wonderful man I met 18 years ago. The kids have all left the nest so hubby and I bounce between Tennessee and Massachusetts to "keep it real" for them.

​I started my career in '95 working with Tweed Advertising, then jumped over to National Media, hoped over to Spiro & Waites Advertising, skipped over to WCI Communities. From there, went on to AdWorks, Inc., and then back to what's now, Spiro & Associates.

 

In 2012, I decided to take the leap, after careful consideration, and ventured out onto my own with Gohman Design. Figured it was time to strap on my big girl pants and step out into the world. The name Gohman is a derivative of my maiden last name GOH and the last 3 letters of my married name GubelMAN, hence GOHMAN.

 

Clients I've had the pleasure to work with range from a simple 2-man operation to larger corporations. But no matter what, everybody gets my personal attention, because...well, it's just me!
